The Habanos, S.A. Corporation (Habanos S.A.) is a Cuban joint venture with the share capital owned 50%-50% by Cubatabaco, a Cuban Government company and Altadis, a Spanish company owned by  Imperial Tobacco Group PLC , a British Tobacco Company. Its corporate purpose is to market all Cuban tobacco products, both in Cuba and throughout the rest of the world, of which the internationally-known Habanos stands out.

Habanos,S.A. was founded in 1994 to exclusively undertake the commercialization of all Habanos brands all over the world.

The company is the world leader in the commercialization of Premium cigars maintaining a presence in over 150 countries through its distribution network and more than 90% of the billing comes from the international business activity.

This Habanos Marketing International Standard (hereinafter the “Standard”) reinforces this commitment and sets out clear rules and principies to ensure that the HSA Group advertising and promotional activities are directed only, in all circumstances, to adult consumers of our products.
