Empor S.A., the exclusive distributor of Habanos in Portugal, presents a selection of vintage products called “EMPOR COLLECTION”
Empor S.A., the exclusive distributor of Habanos in Portugal, celebrated the fifth edition of Empor Habanos Moments, an event primarily designed for Las Casas del Habano, Habanos Specialists, Habanos Points, and Habanos Terrace.
The event took place on 13th of March 2025 at the Empor S.A. premises and served as the platform for the presentation of certificates recognising retail points as Habanos Point and Habanos Specialist for 2025. This recognition celebrates the dedication and effort of each of these specialised establishments.
Mr Pedro Rocha, General Manager, and Mr Luis Javier Bosch, Commercial Director of Empor S.A., welcomed the attendees and shared details about the Habanos Point project for 2025, highlighting its advantages and requirements. They also presented the latest Habanos developments for the market and the new vintage product selection launched by Empor, called the EMPOR COLLECTION, as well as the first product under this concept: a humidor containing the last four Regional Editions of Portugal.
The EMPOR COLLECTION is an exclusive selection of Habanos aimed at the most discerning collectors. These Habanos, handcrafted and carefully preserved by Empor S.A. since their arrival in Portugal, have been aged for several years in ideal temperature and humidity conditions, ensuring their quality. Each box classified as EMPOR COLLECTION undergoes a rigorous quality control process before being marketed, ensuring that only the best pieces are selected. This offers aficionados an exceptional product, the result of Empor S.A.’s experience and commitment.
The Regional Editions included in the EMPOR COLLECTION Humidor are:
- Juan López Chiado 1864, Regional Edition 2014 (50 X 102 mm in length)
- Bolívar Lusíadas, Regional Edition 2017 (48 X 137 mm in length)
- San Cristóbal de La Habana Saudade Regional Edition 2020 (52 X 135 mm in length)
- El Rey Del Mundo Templários Regional Edition 2021 (54 X 120 mm in length)
Each product in the EMPOR COLLECTION will include the following distinctive elements:
- A launch certificate on the outer side of each box, signed by the quality manager of Empor S.A., confirming the manufacture date in Cuba, the launch date for the EMPOR COLLECTION concept, and the respective product category.
- An additional foot ribbon, which protects the cigars and identifies each Habano as part of the EMPOR COLLECTION.
- An official certificate, a seal guaranteeing the originality of the EMPOR COLLECTION product.
After the presentation and certificate ceremony, guests enjoyed a special dinner, with a menu designed for the occasion. During the evening, the Habanos Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure NO.2 (50×124 mm in length) and Partagás Mille Fleurs (42×129 mm in length) were tasted, alongside premium drinks such as Champagne Taittinger Brut Reserve and Prestige Rosé, as well as Laslias wines from Beronia Rueda Blanco 2022, Beronia Crianza Tinto 2021, and Xerez Noé Pedro Ximénez.
