  • The agenda included tastings, pairings, presentations of iconic products, and recreational activities, bringing together enthusiasts from a wide variety of countries in an exceptional setting
  • The final evening, marked by a charity auction of unique humidors and the commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the La Casa del Habano franchise, highlighted the history and projection of premium tobacco culture in the region

Caribbean Habanos Days celebrated its fifth edition on May 30 and 31 in Aruba, where more than one hundred aficionados from a dozen countries gathered under the organization of Caribbean Cigars Corporation N.V., the exclusive distributor of Habanos, S.A. for the Caribbean and Central America. The event reaffirmed its status as one of the most important gatherings for the premium tobacco world in the region.

Over two days, attendees enjoyed a full program that combined tastings, pairings, presentations, and cultural activities in some of the island’s most iconic settings. The agenda included a preview at La Casa del Habano in Aruba, led by Danny Abady and Monica Nino, where renowned Cuban cigar roller Juana Ramos Guerra shared the tradition and art of cigar rolling with participants.

The first day of Caribbean Habanos Days kicked off at Lucy’s, one of Aruba’s most popular venues, with a pairing of Cubita coffee, chocolate, and the Príncipe vitola from the Habanos San Cristóbal de La Habana brand. The day continued with an exhibition of iconic Ecua-Andino hats from Ecuador and a tasting of Trinidad Fundadores during lunch. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear the winners of the sixth edition of the Habanos World Challenge 2025 international competition share their experiences, participate in a blind tasting, and enjoy a selection of music. In the evening, guests moved to the Renaissance hotel’s private island for an evening dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Romeo y Julieta. Dressed in white, they were able to taste the brand’s emblematic vitolas, including those from the Línea de Oro, Churchills, and Wide Churchills lines, paired with an exclusive gastronomic offering in a unique setting.

The second day offered participants the choice between a tour of Aruba or a mini golf tournament at Tierra del Sol, both experiences accompanied by a Habano Montecristo Open Regatta. In the afternoon, there was a pairing of Bolívar Royal Coronas with Caney Oro Ligero rum and the traditional longest ash competition. The Gala Dinner, held in the gardens of the Aruba Trade Center and dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the La Casa del Habano franchise, was the grand finale of the event. During the evening, the Casas del Habano in the region were recognized and an auction of humidors from the Bolívar and Romeo y Julieta brands was held, with all proceeds going to Cuban Public Health.

With this fifth edition, Caribbean Habanos Days reinforces its position as an essential event for the world of premium tobacco in the Caribbean and Central America, underscoring the commitment of Habanos, S.A. and Caribbean Cigars Corporation N.V. to promoting the culture, excellence, and hospitality that distinguish the world of Habanos.
