Message of sympathy. Mr. Todor Dotchev
It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Mr. Todor Dotchev, one of the most prominent figures in the commercialization of Habanos in the European market for more than 30 years. Under his strategic leadership, the company consolidated its presence in key markets such as Bulgaria, Armenia, Albania, North Macedonia, and Kosovo, which were joined in 2016 by Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, and, most recently, Georgia.
His career was distinguished by his leadership of Kaliman Caribe and his tireless work as a global ambassador for Habanos. He always maintained an unwavering commitment to the tobacco tradition, Habanos excellence, and Cuba, which he visited on numerous occasions.
Habanos, S.A. extends its deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. He will be remembered for his contribution to business development, his dedication to preserving tobacco history and culture, and especially for his exceptional human qualities.
