Third Habanos Sunset Party: Bring & Share Edition, Portugal 2026
Last September 18th, Verso Rooftop Lounge in Oeiras hosted the third edition of the Habanos Sunset Party, an exclusive gathering that brought together more than 130 aficionados to enjoy an afternoon and evening dedicated to the culture of the Habano, in a privileged setting overlooking the Tagus River and accompanied by the rhythm of the sunset.
Under the “Bring & Share” concept, the 2026 edition offered a particularly participative experience, inviting guests to share Habanos from their private collections that they would normally reserve for special occasions. The initiative highlighted the personal significance of each Habano and encouraged the exchange of stories, knowledge and preferences among aficionados, reinforcing the sense of community that distinguishes these gatherings.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a relaxed, pleasant and sophisticated atmosphere, accompanied by music, the sunset and a carefully curated selection of premium beverages chosen to enhance the Habano experience.
González Byass opened the evening with Croft Twist, served as a welcome drink, followed by the Spanish wines Beronia Las Lías and Beronia Alegra Rosé, together with the sparkling wines Vilarnau Reserva Rosé and Vilarnau Gran Reserva Vintage 2018, offering a variety of profiles and styles to be enjoyed throughout the event. The experience was complemented by Casa Redondo’s selection of premium beverages, with a focus on The Botanist Gin and different expressions of Ron Abuelo, including Abuelo Añejo, Abuelo Añejo 12 Años and Abuelo Finish Collection Tawny 15 Años. The experience was further enhanced by cocktails prepared to order, such as Mojitos and Daiquiris, bringing a fresher and more relaxed touch to the evening.
More than a social event, the Habanos Sunset Party is becoming an unmissable gathering for true enthusiasts—a space where passion for Habanos goes beyond the conventional, blending with the discovery of new experiences and a unique way of celebrating Habano culture. Many attendees brought from their private collections Habanos from brands such as Montecristo, Hoyo de Monterrey, El Rey del Mundo, among others to enjoy them during the event.
With its immersive atmosphere at dusk, carefully curated music selection and excellence in beverages, Verso Rooftop Lounge provided the perfect setting for this third edition, preserving the unique balance between premium sophistication and the fresh spirit that defines the Habanos Sunset Party.
