Fashion has always been an example of art and history. French and Cuban designers joined their work to celebrate, together with the participants, the 5th Habanos Festival, devoted to the 150th Anniversary of the arrival of cigars to the Old World.
Exclusivity, beauty and harmony described the show presented at El Laguito yesterday night. The designs of the prestigious Cuban designers Abraham, Martha Verónica and Maurizio Galante, Mouna Ayoub and the famous Fashion House Christian Dior, from France illustrated the refined taste, creativity and traditions inspired on the wonderful and mystical Habanos World.
Besides, the scenery was shared with important Cuban artists performing different music styles: Arts Longa, the Camerata Romeu, Estudiantina Invasora, José Ángel Navarro, Grupo Síntesis and the composer and pianist Chucho Valdés –winner of two Grammy awards.
This show, the first one carried out in a Habanos Festival was directed by the famous Cuban composer and director Leo Brower together with Guille Vilar, Director of the Cuban Radio and Television.
The international fashion show granted all participants at the 5th Habanos Festival a memory of an unforgettable night.
