The 11th Habanos Academy Master Course is over in Havana, Cuba
At the end of December 2023 and during two consecutive weeks, the Habanos Academy Master course graduated, with immense pride, more than thirty professionals from the world of Habanos, representatives of eleven of our Exclusive Distributors that came from 19 different countries.
Immersed in an intense academic program, with the Habano as the star in each activity, the participants concluded their training with the satisfaction of having become as Habano’s ambassadors, hence increasingly appreciating the imperceptible value of each of the people who participate in the extensive production and commercializing chain for all enthusiasts of this unique product.

The gathering included the long-awaited visit to the plantations, this time in San Antonio de los Baños, in the Partido zone, where they lived in the furrow the experience and wisdom of the vegueros. They could talk with the rollers in the factories, had the opportunity to roll their own Habano in the emblematic El Laguito factory , tasted the unique Cuban rum with a delicious vitola of Partagás brand and also received enriching conferences related to the marketing of the brands in the Habanos portfolio, the network La Casa del Habano franchise, the origin and culture of Cuban tobacco and its D.O.P., legal and marketing issues, among other topics of interest taught directly by directives and specialists of Habanos, S.A.
At an emotional closing dinner, the graduates received their Habanos Academy Master Certificate, presented by the Director of Operational Marketing, Mrs. Beatriz Garrido García.
The Habanos Academy ratifies its mission to prepare professionally those people who are directly linked to the commercialization and extension of the Habano culture.
