85th Anniversary of Montecristo
On the evening of 4th of February, 2020 Phoenicia T.A.A Cyprus Ltd hosted an exclusive cigar night in Limassol – Cyprus, in celebration of a triad of three major happenings. The launching of Montecristo Supremos LE 2019, as well as the 85th Anniversary of Montecristo and the 60 years Anniversary of Cyprus – Cuba Diplomatic Relations.
The event took place in the elegant atmosphere of Columbia Steak House, among a crowd of aficionados and the presence of the esteemed guests of H.E. Mr. Omar Leyva Rafull (Ambassador of Cuba in Cyprus), Mr. Leopoldo Cintra González (Commercial vice-president of Habanos, S.A.), H.E. Mr. Marko Blagojevic (Ambassador of Serbia in Cyprus), Mr. Ioannis Kasoulides (Ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus), Mr. Javier Terres De Ercilla (Business Development Director of Tabacalera), Members of the Board of Phoenicia Cyprus, as well as other high-government officials.
The venue carried the colors and spirit of the Montecristo brand, as guests were entertained by with musical tones of “The Fabulous Dillingers” live band, and enjoyed a five-course dinner, followed by the aroma of 4 Habanos from Montecristo brand that accompanied the night; the Montecristo Master, Montecristo Double Edmundo, Montecristo Dumas, and of course the star of the night, the Montecristo Supremos Limited Edition 2019. All of this accompanied by videos made especially for the occasion, where Cuba, Cyprus and Habanos are intertwined under a perfect harmony.
During the event, attending guests were also able to join in a raffle where one lucky winner received a prized Montecristo ashtray, and five other guests received a set of five Montecristo Supremos cigars each.
The attendees also received a complimentary arranged gift at the end of the night, of a Montecristo branded cigar cutter and lighter in a unique and rustic style.
